01 The challenge

Public safety communications must compete for attention in busy urban environments while delivering information that audiences can understand and act on quickly.

Pedestrian and traffic safety campaigns must reach multiple audiences, including drivers, pedestrians and community members, with messaging that is memorable, accessible and consistent across communication channels.

02 Our creative approach

PR Brand Marketing developed Every Crossing Counts, an integrated public-awareness campaign concept designed around one central message:

Look Up. Slow Down. Stay Aware.

The campaign uses bold typography, high-contrast colors, recognizable urban imagery and concise safety messaging to encourage responsible behavior on shared streets.

03 Communication strategy

The creative strategy combines emotional relevance with practical education.

Messaging for drivers emphasizes slowing down, yielding appropriately and remaining attentive near crossings.

Messaging for pedestrians emphasizes following crossing signals, checking for approaching vehicles and avoiding distractions.

The campaign’s coordinated visual system is designed to support recognition across transit environments, digital platforms and printed materials.

Campaign components

  • Outdoor and digital billboard advertising
